Yes, we do! We want to find out all about your experience so that we can make any necessary improvements. We will send you out a short questionnaire that we ask for you to kindly fill out so we can make it even more comfortable for our next client.
We will provide you with a checklist of what to do before your departure in order to leave it neat and tidy for the next guest.
The cottage owner should provide a list of contacts if you experience any problems with the facilities. For any issues of a personal nature you can reach Shari Canning (613)302-8542 at any time.
We release the details of your cottage location or retreat one week before your departure. We will provide an address as well as arrival and departure times. We ask that you share your location with only your emergency contact to protect future clients who may be using the same facility.
You can apply any time of the year. We keep a confidential record of applications and will be in touch when we have matched you to the appropriate accommodations.
If you are looking for a cottage we will find one for you and be in touch once we have located it to make sure the travel distance etc., are good. Then we send you a confirmation letter.
For retreat stays we take applications on a first come, first serve basis. If current retreats are full we place your name on a waiting list for the next retreat, we hold.
Send in a completed online application and we will be in touch letting you know we have received your application.
Cottage stays can be up to a week long and are designed so that the survivor can share the time with their loved ones. We provide the cottage for you and all you have to provide are your groceries. Cottage stays are available from June through September.
Our retreats are a way for survivors to connect with each other. We provide the accommodations, all meals and activities (where available). Each survivor receives their own bedroom while the bathroom facilities and other areas of the house are shared. Retreats are either in June or September/October.
